Four days ago, the world of cinema changed completely.
Don LaFontaine died.
He’s been involved with more films than anyone else I can think of.
Don’t know who he is? You’ve seen one or two of his films, I’ll bet. Actually, probably ten or twenty. Or more. Even if you haven’t seen many films in your life.
In fact, if you’re a child of the 70s or 80s, almost every film you saw on the screen in the cinema was associated with Don LaFontaine.
You probably wouldn’t recognise his face. But you’d definitely recognise his voice.

HttpFox is a fantastic extension for Firefox that acts as a proxy to your HTTP requests and responses, capturing them and showing in detail what’s happening between the server and the client.
Absolutely invaluable for developing server applications (I’m currently working on a Flex front-end to PHP back-end). Highly recommended!
