For my reference.

haXe 2.0

HaXe 2.0 is out!

It includes a huge list of changes; the most significant (to my mind) being the inclusion of Franco’s haXe/PHP.

Yes, that’s right… haXe now compiles to PHP.

Brilliant stuff. :-)

You can download it from here.

The Prisoner

According to a noticeboard in this building, ITV are producing a 6-part remake of the Prisoner starring Jim Caviezel as Number 6 and Ian McKellen as Number 2.

Hm. I’m torn about remakes. In that… most remakes are pointless and a waste of money. But then you’ve got BSG…

Then again, it’s ITV, and they aren’t known for their high-quality TV these days.

(I’m not a huge Prisoner fan, but I’m betting some of you are, and might have stronger opinions on this one than me…)

A couple of up-and-coming frameworks for Flex…

Mate – heavily MXML tag based.

Swiz, a lightweight IoC framework.

And another rejection!

They’re coming thick and fast now. :-D

Freshly Fuelled

Having had a long discussion in a car with Rach, I’ve finally nailed down some stuff about Gasoline that was bugging me. Put a lot more structure in place.

So, believe it or not, I’m now starting the second draft before the first is finished. :-)

Mostly because the first draft kinda lost its way, and a lot of the new structure really affects the half-way point of the story (which is where I was).

Second Rejection

…which was something of a nice surprise, because I had assumed the agent wouldn’t bother to reply at all – it being nearly four months since I sent the manuscript.

Again, not a bad rejection, although I suspect it’s a form note.

Tin Man

Just watched the first episode.

What a load of tosh.

And not even entertaining tosh at that.

Bah.

Shan’t bother with any more.

Edit: Hang on… deja vu, at all?
